Mana Keepers

Who we are:

Mana Keepers offers crystals, rocks, books, music, prints, cards, and art-work from local and international nature-loving artists. Nature has the power to rejuvenate, exhilarate, sooth, heal and inspire. It can stir the soul, elicit wonder, calm the mind of stress and ease tension from the body. Many of us in modern society don't have the occasion to enjoy the benefits of nature in our daily environment. Mana Keepers strives to give people everywhere an opportunity to bring a bit of the natural world into their everyday lives.
"I believe that there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright." ~Henry David Thoreau

When we loose our connection with Nature’s rhythms and cycles, we become disconnected from our bodies and emotions and get “stuck in our heads”. By engaging in the restorative energies of nature we help bring balance and harmony to our lives. That’s why for centuries artists, philosophers, scientists, healers and lovers have been inspired by Mother Nature?  "Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." ~Albert Einstein

For those of us that live in cities or densely populated suburbs it may be difficult to find a space in nature to meditate in. Many of us don’t have the opportunity of enjoying the benefits of immersing ourselves in nature on a daily basis. As a result our bodies suffer as does our vitality and our creativity.
“The earth has music for those who listen.” ~William Shakespeare

Even if we can’t move to a new location or drastically transform our lifestyles we can still effect positive change in our current environment by adding aspects of Mother Nature. Living plants, crystals, waterfalls and nature photographs can all help change stressed living spaces into a more harmonious and enriching environment.  "In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous." ~Aristotle

Mana Keepers

About our name:Mana

"Divine power, miraculous power" excerpt from Hawaiian Dictionary by Pukui & Elbert. It's meaning is similar to Chi or to Prana. It refers to the spiritual or divine power found throughout all of creation. As nature holds Mana, Mana Keepers, is not only our name but a description of the items we offer.

"...For you will look at the world with new eyes

And when you pass through wooded terrain cooled by the breath of many blossoms

And green lace canopies shade you

And silken quiet presses in like gloved hands around your ears

You will feel the miracle of a new awareness drawing...

For nature will begin to speak...and ancient voices will respond inside you

And long lost harmony will be restored

Then a new flowering will begin in your mind and heart

And as you blossom...everything around you will burst into celebrations of loud color and mirror back recognition

For all of life is one..."

Excerpt from our inspiration "The Mana Keepers" by Kristin Zambucka

Our Blog:

We created our blog as a quick reference guide to the metaphysical, historical, meditative and healing properties of the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms. The information we share is merely a small bit of the vast amount of information written over the centuries about stones, animals and plants. We also strive to share the timeless wisdom of past visionaries, native wisdoms and stories that lift the spirit and warm the heart.  There are as many different interpretations of stone properties as there are stones therefor our philosophy is to respect the wisdom of Indigenous Cultures that teach that ALL things in nature are sacred because they were created by The Great Spirit. And that each and every creation in nature has its own unique purpose and identity. "The best way to 'know' a stone is by meditating with it and listening to your inspiration." ~ Aurora Ferrer
